Dallas synth-pop artist Hilary Case has released her new single “No Romeos,” a glittering, disco-inspired celebration of independence, self-confidence, and taking control of your own happiness. Produced alongside Josh Goode, the track draws on the infectious energy of 1980s pop, pairing dancefloor-ready production with a message about knowing your worth and enjoying life on your own terms.
“I wanted ‘No Romeos’ to feel like the best night out you’ve ever had with your friends,” Case explains. “The night is mine, and I get to decide what it looks like.” The single captures that spirit of freedom, turning an evening of dancing, singing, and friendship into a declaration of self-possession.
“No Romeos” is the third release in a planned four-single series exploring personal growth, moving from anxiety and overthinking toward confidence and living in the moment. Following “Rollercoaster” and “Product of Your Love,” the track continues Case’s evolution as a songwriter, with the forthcoming “Puzzles” set to complete the collection.
