Blondshell has released “Fur Elise,” the latest preview of her forthcoming album Violins, out September 25 via Partisan Records.
The song serves as the album’s closing track and pairs Sabrina Teitelbaum’s familiar loud/quiet guitar dynamics with a story about growing up without necessarily knowing what adulthood is supposed to look like.
“You’re trying to figure out what you want your life to look like, and what you want playing at your wedding, but you don’t even know where to start,” Teitelbaum says of the song. “You’re picking the wrong song.”
Produced by Yves Rothman, Violins follows Blondshell’s 2025 album If You Asked For A Picture and also includes previously released tracks “Heart Has To Work So Hard” and “Violins.”
Blondshell will tour Europe and the UK in December before beginning a North American run in February 2027.
