The single follows the band’s recent residency at the Sydney Opera House and marks their first release since 2022’s Angel In Realtime. Written by David Le’aupepe, Tom Hobden, Donnie Borzestowski and Jung Kim, the track pairs the band’s familiar widescreen songwriting with piano, violin, brass, cello and a gradually expanding arrangement.
The band describe “Things Take Time” as being about “the endless loop of birth, growth, death and rebirth which encases all matter and energy.”
